If you have a striker that you think is worth at least 60m that wants to stay and fight for his place despite currently being slightly out of favour and third choice, ahead of a UCL season with only a two week break. I don’t see any reason to not keep him.

Yeah to be fair guys he wants so much more money, can’t blame the club for sanctioning this and briefing it.

Really enjoying our fans actively falling for us just becoming Brighton with a bigger budget. Any normal or serious football club would keep a player that’s primed to explode but Chelsea fans think it’s the perfect opportunity to make a couple quid.

Neto’s crossing isn’t a justification for buying him btw. You don’t spend 60m on a winger who needs Victor Osimhen to have respectable output. Especially considering how much Olise would’ve cost. Noni is easily the best we have.

I’ve flip flopped A LOT about Maresca this season, but I wanna get it in now whilst I’m less emotional that I think it’s good he’s staying. Not because I rate him really highly, but the last thing this club needs is more instability. An unstable club tumbles down the league very quickly these days.

How is this true when you literally explored a deal for Duran in January after passing on him for 30m in the summer?

The problem I have with this btw is the fact that age seems to still be as much of a priority as readiness. If you’re indirectly telling us you think you can compete for the title next season, stop signing children. We ALREADY have the youngest squad in the league, what else do you need to achieve?
