We don’t say: Sorry we can’t build city subways because bicycles are way cheaper. Obviously, they do different and complimentary things. Should we stop building offshore wind farms when solar panels are cheaper? No. They compliment each other and you can’t manage a grid with one source alone

Well, we could spend a dollar more on nuclear and a dollar less on coal. Why should it be to the detriment of solar? Do we need to choose between solar and wind? Of course not.
