I first saw this in the early 70s when I was a kid. While I managed to watch it in its entirety & loved the concept, I was scared the entire time. I didn't realise for decades that it was filmed in colour. Few homes then had colour television, so I always thought it was filmed in black-and-white.

This may be apocryphal, but I've been told that a few people at the Iggy Pop and Jimmy Barnes gigs years ago had half the crowd walk out after Iggy Pop's set.
