Had an absolutely fantastic day yesterday at our second Opportunity Hounslow conference. Was wonderful to meet and hear from so many people from across the sectors in Hounslow - education, business, development, charity and more. All invested in making Hounslow the best place it can be.

Donkey Wood, along the River Crane in Feltham. An absolute treat as always for a walk. Lorna calls it “a hidden gem.” Always amazed there aren’t more people - especially on a late summer day like today - I wonder how we could get more people visiting? @hounslowcouncil.bsky.social #RiverCrane

A couple of weeks ago Cllr Sharma and I visited the demolition taking place at Charlton House and Albany Parade. Certainly some feelings of nostalgia but good to see things moving forward. Steve Curran’s old hard hat was please to get an outing too!

Finished! Was aiming for sub 3:30, and did it in 3:28! But more importantly have raised lots of money for a wonderful cause. Thought a lot about Darrell McDonald on the way round 😢 and so most importantly of all, I hope I did Amy, Maya and Theo proud.
