To top it off he wants to invade Greenland. Since Denmark, and by extension Greenland, is a member of NATO, the US will have go to the aid of Greenland if Trump does invade, or fight all the NATO nations defending it.

Yes, that is quite true, however, the buck stops with the figurehead. An import tax is a tariff by definition. The king was mad, not angry.
