Last Saturday, we edited Wikipedia at the Guido Mine in Zabrze, 300 meters underground – in Belarusian, Polish, and Ukrainian. There was also a cake to celebrate Wikipedia's 24th birthday.

A few days ago, we had the pleasure of participating in the unveiling of the "Bebok the Wikipedian" monument at the University of Silesia in Katowice. This is the second Wikipedia monument in Poland.

I just received this gift from Wikimedia Polska for my participation in CEE Spring - competition for writing articles about Central and Eastern Europe. This time, I wrote articles about Belarusian female artists and ambassadors of Belarus. Thank you very much!

At yesterday's @wikipedia.org meeting in #Warsaw, I gave a presentation on the repression of Wikipedia editors in #Belarus. In 2025, the number of such people increased dramatically. There is still no contact with at least two arrested administrators.

I just read "Węgry na nowo" (Hungary anew) by @kropkahu.bsky.social. A great read! I devoured it in a few days. Héjj is currently one of the best Polish specialists and of Hungary. The book describes the Hungarian social and political present and Fidesz's path to power.

A few days ago in Warsaw I had the pleasure of giving a presentation on my PhD topic - the history of the railway bridges at the Citadel. I think it was interesting 🙂

I took part in the Warsaw Open Wikimeeting in one of those famous wooden Finnish houses near the parliament. We met there for the first time. We discussed Wikipedia and general issues. A very cozy place, good for such meetings.

For 20 years I have been a volunteer in the World Community Grid project, for which I provide the spare computing power of my computers to search for cures for cancer, AIDS and support other scientific research.
