Reggie Miller’s push off in the ECF was much worse anyway.

“Common part of his arsenal”? What?

My least favorite it “I don’t understand government and I don’t think it should exist. Now let me be in charge of it.” Followed by “government should be profitable.”

Thanks a lot for reminding me of that Liver King guy. You’re a bad person. But on the plus side, it reminded me that it might be safe to read the AV Club again. I assume they aren’t publishing AI stories anymore.

He’s not a war-time consiglieri. Unfortunately the war might be over by the next Congress.

Everybody is about to learn who Pat Ryan is.

We’re on a nice run of no governors going to jail!!! 2 going on 3.

We still have 3 major sports teams with that imagery. Atlanta and Kansas City still do the cheers too which is unbelievable. Chicago missed their chance to rebrand a decade ago when they were winning and would have sold a ton of the new merchandise. There’s no excuse for the other two.

I know this is a joke, but this is how tech bros sound to me when they talk about “disrupting” or AI. Just confidently saying nothing at all.

He looks like a Connor O’Malley character.

This still annoys me. “One-eyed giant” is much longer than “Cyclops.”
December 25, 2024 at 4:38 PM
They couldn’t have said “cyclops”?
December 25, 2024 at 3:31 AM
A lot of people are saying it

Thank you!! The best I could think of is just to say they were mirror images or that the Bears are the Bizarro Chiefs. This is much better

I wouldn’t go near those neo-cons with a 10 foot pole. I find little value in the punditry. I’ve seen people saying they played too much to the extremes and that the courted republicans. I’d start with finding out why millions of people switched when Trump is the same guy, if not openly worse now.

If there’s anything I’ve learned since that jackass came down that escalator in 2015, it’s that nothing matters anymore. Nothing seems to make a difference. I’m worried it’s as simple as the casual voters who decide presidential elections forgetting how horrible he is and voting against an incumbent

I haven’t been sane enough to dive into it, but who were the millions of people who voted for Biden in 2020 but didn’t vote for Harris in 2024? Isn’t it as simple as that?
November 27, 2024 at 3:15 PM
I think it will leave the family. There’s a guy named Ryan with a right of first refusal to buy the rest of the shares. Also everything depends on the stadium. We’ll see

Just to get weird with it, does that make1986 Palm Sunday?
June 16, 2024 at 1:27 AM
1998 though?

Of course, we have actually done things according to the law and been decent. The WSJ target audience might use it as indentured servitude.

The au pair thing isn’t a simple as it seems. You have to pay for their visa and flight and education. And they get health insurance through the agency. Plus the family has to give them their own room to live and food. It has been the most stable child care we’ve had.
December 8, 2023 at 7:01 PM
I am deeply disturbed by this.
