The Fathers was outstanding. The seamless fusion of satire, social realism, pathos, belly laughs and harrowing tragedy. Akin to a chef composing sublime cuisine, engaging every sensory receptor with your words!

Had a great time at the book talk in Manchester. Brilliant to finally get to meet you after reading everything you’ve published over the years. The Fathers is jostling for second or third position in my personal favourites of yours. Straight White Male is the one I’m always compelled to reread.
