It’s less and less daft with each loss. There’s no evidence that he is doing anything to change this. I’m not saying he should be sacked. i don’t fucking know. But i also wouldn’t care if he was.

This is what the competence drain does. You’re left with lawyers who can‘t see the obvious consequences of their own concessions (they don’t even realize they’re concessions). The regime is left with badly trained zealots. Not great.

The biggest problem I have with this strategy is Jerry’s track record with identifying good hitters. If they let Josh walk, I have no confidence Jerry makes the right next move. A good player arrives and likes it here. Not the best. But very good. Let’s take what‘s in front of us.

Yeah but I just don’t have the energy to talk about officiating when we’re this bad. This is beyond comprehension. It’s a non functional team. You’re right of course. It’s awful officiating. But my god.

I‘m fast losing any affection for or investment in the current folks in charge of this.

To be fair, we’re responsible for this. We are a complete mess and there doesn’t appear to be a plan to get us out of it. It was a soft penalty. But this team - manager and players - is a car crash.

Just not sure I can point to anything Slot has done to help us get out of this (I’m sure he has tried, I just can’t see it on the pitch). It’s like the philosophy is “they’re good players, they can’t stay this bad forever.”

Lots of failures there, and I get that. But fucking Kerkez is at the center of every bad thing we do. He’s a fucking vortex of mistakes. I cant remember a more damaging player than him.
