Dr. Bryan Register

Professionally philosophical, highly historical, avidly antifascist, gleefully gaming, merrily movieviewing. ATX.

Scalawag fighting the long Civil War. (Views not those of employer or expressed in the classroom.)
But we've *got* to talk about Kevin.

Urban Dictionary, which is more reliable than the NIH on these matters, actually confirms this, which I personally am slightly surprised by, because I had been taught 'felching' as ass-specific and never heard anything to the contrary until now. But I stand corrected!

That's too many letters and also not felching.

Given that he was talking about it, "if you're going to talk about it, then fill me in on the details about RFK's e. coli consumptiom habits" can only be fulfilled by filling you in on the details.

This is just out-fucking-standing work.

That could have been anything, though! He might have been eating butterflies out of a maple syrup jar. Or maple syrup out of a butterfly's asshole!

RFK Jr. enjoyed sucking his cum out of his girlfriend's ass through a straw and waxing poetical about doing so.

ARE YOU GLAD YOU ASKED!?

Anus, maybe?

(I feel that you use medical Latin consistently or not at all, but the bar is at the center of the Earth at this point, so mildly unnatural wording is the least of our traumas.)

I teach at a community college and I can confirm that it's an unmitigated disaster and an existential catastrophe. I can't imagine any believable route to a human future under these circumstances.

I defy you to tell me that the baby can really pronounce that better than the dog can.

'Man' might do, or 'friend'. But I don't know that language "to lift men up" is really necessary when there's a concrete issue; addressing that directly, as if it (and hence the questioner) mattered, probably conveys the appropriate respect (and in a less decorative — more "manly" — sort of way).

There's a related story, on the page, that makes me really hope that modern humans did *not* make out with Neanderthals.

Yikes to chiefliness and (good heavens!) kingliness.

We've gotta get over identifying masculinity with leadership.

Geometrically required?

We need to get rid of New Urbanism and replace it with New Lovecraftianism. Non-euclidean cities, baby! Your sanity is a small price to pay for affordability, walkability, and negative commute time, and the student-teacher ratio at the local schools is literally unreal.

Are you unfamiliar with the word 'would'?

I don’t want to hear about norms, I don’t want to hear about looking forward not back, I don’t want to hear about “bipartisanship”

I want the filibuster gone, the court packed, new states, and a top to bottom cleaning of the federal government that ends with a lot of people in jail

...and there's a small number of people who either like haggling, or are good at it, or both, and they don't understand that the rest of us are not like them. Unfortunately, those people are peculiarly inclined to be economists and policy wonks and try to craft what they imagine we would want.

confidence, much less certainty.)

(Which said, the lede that people use "quantum" and similar to mystify is 100% true. Our habit should be that if someone says "quantum", you immediately stop them, ask whether they have a PhD in physics or related field, and if not, probably ignore them.)
