Today, I had the pleasure of having to sit on the floor of a Transpennine Express train from Stockport to Dore.

The train was delayed and packed to the rafters, and to add insult to injury, there were only 3 cars all the way from Liverpool to Scunthorpe.

We desperately need less short range flights, like Manchester and Leeds to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam, and international trains could be the catalyst needed.

I'm currently at Stratford International, and despite its name, it's never seen a single international train stop here.

Stratford was planned to be a stopping point for Regional Eurostar services, which would've travelled north of London towards Manchester and Leeds.

Hallamshire Hospital - Sheffield

Only half the lifts are working, our NHS desperately needs funds to refurbish it's hospitals, and build new ones where the hospitals are no longer meeting requirements.
