the easiest way to have a solo playing experience in ffxiv is to be clear up front that you don't erp or have interest in lewd gposing with strangers ("hi, i'm badger, and you are?")
there's a very real reason i don't play femroe anymore, nobody knew how to goddamn behave and send normal tells

It will never stop being amazing (bad connotation) to me how so many in this community segregate not only themselves but also everyone else based off "I need to be sexually attracted or aroused by your character in order to even speak to you". No wonder why friendship is a novel concept in XIV.
