Spent the day in San Marino yesterday, the oldest republic in the world. Its three famous towers are accessible through a short and beautiful path at the top of the legendary Monte Titano. A must-see for any visitors to the region, and an easy country to add to your list!

Latest #nonfiction read was the biography of John Constable by James Hamilton. While not going too much into the analysis of his paintings, it drew a great portrait of his life and times, including the large influence of his relatives in Suffolk and London. Might make a trip to East Bergholt!
