Another one of my portraits up at the in the Unfiltered femininity exhibit. Lily has such a natural and captivating elegance. Instead of a traditional limited palette I used four non traditional colors-Egyptian Violet, Quinacridone magenta, neon blue, and eggshell.

This painting is crude and simple, but it is one of my favorites. It’s another one of my limited palette pieces. I believe I used 5 colors in total.

Not quite finished with it yet but when I am, I will have a handful of paintings (including this one) up for sale. Half of the proceeds from this batch of paintings will be donated to a charitable cause, such as Doctors Without Borders or Doctors Against Genocide.
