Well here's just a sample of the replies from that post, I did no sorting and got all these as one screenshot.

Really good poutine could probably make me religious tbh

With the others you still had more of the feeling of working towards things as a collective since you had to work to spawn things though. I will say I agree with you on Pagos, which was probably the one exploration zone I found less enjoyable than OC and it's by a wide, wide margin. Just the worst.

To be clear, that complaint is separate from the Forked Tower stuff, except for the fact that OC lacking this feeling makes it feel not worth doing, which makes not being able to get into Forked Tower, where there might finally be some engagement, feel even worse.

That all gets to my point, that OC doesn't understand what this type of content is really about. Duels weren't just for the people doing them, they were a spectacle for the community. The active spawning and massive zerg train gave Anemos that sense of community. OC lacks that feeling.

It also lacks duels, which while a minor thing on their own did add to the feeling of being in the zone. OC just feels like it's missing one too many pieces though currently. Maybe it's rose-tinted glasses, but I feel like even Anemos felt better to be in than this.

And that would be where we actually disagree. I think Forked Tower not being approachable is a negative in this moment. Occult Crescent already feels lacking compared to Southern Front on release, and it being so hard to get into Forked Tower just makes it feel like there's even less to do.

The factors of needing the other people to get in, and it being difficult to either convince 15+ randoms to join you in the instance or put together a group outside of the instance with no guarantee you can get them all in the same place, does make it hard to get in. I think that's a problem.
July 2, 2025 at 8:09 PM
Honestly, because I didn't really think it was that hard to understand what I meant to begin with. I do apologize, since it seems you really didn't know and weren't just being belligerent for the sake of it. But I have clarified, so let's focus on that.
July 2, 2025 at 8:07 PM
That's how you interpreted it, but I then clarified what I meant specifically by complicated because you didn't understand what I meant, and rather than address that you chose to reply with just mockery, without addressing the actual points I was making.
July 2, 2025 at 8:05 PM
Now you're putting words in my mouth. I literally explained the things that make it complicated, which is the thing I actually said. Not once did I say the issue was figuring out how to get in. Gotta say, I thought you were better than this.
July 2, 2025 at 6:57 PM
Plus the method of getting in allowing for interference, plus the coordination that appears to be needed once you're actually inside which deters people from just attempting to get in with randoms. Like, would you disagree that Forked Tower is less approachable than CLL?
July 2, 2025 at 5:57 PM
Okay you're being deliberately obtuse here. The problem isn't with literally figuring out entry, it's with actually getting 48, or even the minimum 16, people to actually go in when it's not even possible to guarantee those people getting into the same wider instance.
July 2, 2025 at 5:52 PM
And that right there is the issue with Forked Tower being so unapproachable until now. Maybe you're correct that Forked Tower is easier than CLL and Dalriada, but since unlike those it's complicated (to put it kindly) to get into at all most people don't know one way or the other.

Other comments teaching me that Celeste is Canadian so I feel like that's probably the go-to, but for me personally I want to throw a mention to the Deus Ex games that came out of Eidos-Montréal, those being Human Revolution and Mankind Divided.
