I am experimenting spinning tow for a rug warp. This is yarn for my second batch. I pulled rovings from the tow, and it seems to be going well. I think it will be a 5-ply because the singles are coming in at about 32wpi.

My flax from 2020 feels under-retted. It is course and there is a grainy coating. I'm trying to re-rett to soften the beautiful, 4' long line. Lucky to have a frost to help.
