Thank you to all members who highlighted the importance of ensuring that children's views and rights are central as the Bill progresses.

We will continue to engage closely as the Bill moves to Stage 2 to support amendments that strengthen children's rights in practice.

We're pleased to see children's rights being discussed, with MSPs referring directly to our Stage 1 briefing, consultation response & the evidence given by our Director.

One of her most powerful reminders cut through the entire room:

The keynote speaker, Juliet Harris, Director of Together, offered a compelling account of Scotland’s decades-long movement to embed the UNCRC across policy, legislation, & everyday decision-making #UNCRCScotland

The event brought together leaders, practitioners, advocates & young people to explore what it truly takes to make children’s rights real, in practice, in culture, & in law #UNCRCScotland
