Just a heads up to fellow artists, someone recently commissioned multiple different artists, including me for a Paper Mario style book character illustration… then backed out on every single one of us without a word. No explanation, just bailed the moment we were almost done with the work.

I honestly don’t get why people find it funny to block an artist. I talked to this person they seemed nice so I started working on their project. Two hours later when I tried to reach out what do I see? I’m blocked.

Artists be out here spending 10 hours on a piece just for someone to say ‘can you do it for $20?’ like pls respect the craft plus it isn’t just about the hours spent drawing it’s also about the years it took to learn how to draw like that and the price reflects both.

My graphic arts class is making us submit a submission to the jimmy Fallon billboard contest and oh my god its so limiting.
