20. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
I decided to replay this as my first game in VR and it was really terrifying and fun. I think in some aspects it was less scary, as shooting in VR was much easier than with a gamepad. And I still think the boat section is fun

It only took me 90 minutes to beat the first chapter, but those minutes sure were packed with surreal experiences. Pretty interesting characters and setting, with some great animation and voice acting

I had a good amount of fun with this, and I especially liked how much freedom exploring I had. The other aspects of the game were well done too for the most part, but for some reason the game didn't really stand out to me...

An amazing game that really capitalized on its prequel and the previous arc to deliver some of the most memorable moments so far, although I wasn't very happy with the conclusions of some story points, which just felt like missed opportunities

16. Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country
The new characters and locations were cool, but the main story was lacking to say the least. I'm glad they brought back the community chart, I really enjoyed filling it out and the quests were so much better than in the first two games

I didn't know anything about this game before I jumped in so I was pleasantly surprised by the level of polish and the variety in presentation. The ending felt too abrupt in an unfinished way, like a story without a conclusion or even a climax

Not a perfect game by any means but it does a lot of things well, and even some of it's questionable design choices made it more interesting in the end. I especially fell in love with it's world and characters, and I even warmed up to the gameplay

Great art and the overarching story was nice, but each case wasn't that interesting by itself. I feel like the gameplay didn't really have a purpose, it just made the pacing way worse. The ending was also a bit too out there for no reason

While it managed to scratch the fantasy itch I had, I was somewhat disappointed. I think it would have worked better as a kinetic VN, instead of giving each love interest equal attention, which made the protagonist feel indecisive. The theme of the story was really nice
