I wasn't aware till quite recently either and have had cats and dogs for over 45 years, onion is also in the same family as garlic so is toxic too.

Don't do that, garlic is highly toxic to cats and dogs, it destroys red blood cells, everytime you give your cat garlic you are basically playing russian roulette with its life, what doesn't kill one day might kill the next.

Top 2 are just with my phone camera, bottom 2 were on a dwarf 2, an easy way to begin looking at the stars.
