Before we found out about Tangle & Whisper coming to CrossWorlds, we heard about the plot for the tie-in comic (coming next month) which features Tangle.
Now I have a feeling that Whisper will be involved too… it’d make sense, even though she’s not mentioned or seen in the preview below…

Fun fact: Whisper’s initial design (by writer and artist Evan Stanley) came from the character creator in Sonic Forces.
This alone proves that something good CAN come from something bad (I don’t think Forces is BAD per se, but that’s for another time).
