The herring are running in Tomales Bay. A raft of 40 or so sea lions cruised by Heart's Desire Beach on Tomales Bay about 20 minutes ago. There are several harbor seals hanging around. Quite an interesting day.

At Heart's Desire Beach tonight, I discovered some cool snail action. Dorids! Sea-lemons in the intertidal zone at Heart's Desire Beach. The yellow structures are their egg cases, bright yellow bands of mucus attached to stones. #naturalist #dorid #sealemon #TomalesBay #wildmarin #tidepooling
