Why because buggy users and those with bulky luggage do not have the same adminstration or restrictions as disabled people but take up the same space. It would be ok if we weren't forced to pay extra to travel it feels like a #disabiliyTax 3/3

In the last 3 days my husband and I have done 3 journey costing us an additional €60. On only 1 of these journeys we have had our own spaces despite paying for them. @myedf.bsky.social we have had to share a space 2/3

3) Assume competence & don't avoid us. Many non-disabled people seem scared of wheelchair users like we're going to bite them. It's tiring to always be the one to make the first move, or having to prove in every new conversation that you know what you are doing. 3/3

2) Resist the urge when seeing a wheelchair user or a group of users to refer to driving licence, races, or can you give me a lift. 2/3 #InternationalWheelchairDay

I am in the 2nd space however it is booked from Lancaster I raised this with the train manager who just said that it's a problem for the next manager who gets on at Carlisle he also seemed to imply that if there is a 2nd wheelchair user they may not be allowed to board because of luggage.
