I am still immensely proud of my first published piece which is also one of my favorites not simply because it was published, but because to this day it feels indicative of my "voice" even as I'm still searching..I must admit I love reading it..

It’s a vertical rectangle with an alternating yellow and red target pattern drawn in a rough way and painted in bright acrylics with some brush strokes still visible. In the foreground is shiny robot wearing a large and silly blue bow tie with his silver hands up in the air. He has a pink triangular vest and a multi-vertical striped cummerbund that matches the tie. He wears a white belt and his lower body is cut off in the image and only the yellow portion of the target is visible. His body and skinny and his tall head has big rectangular but messily drawn teeth, his head angles in to where his eyes meet in a point with ping pong like eyes meets in the center with wild and differing pupils and lighting(but bit more random)-like eyebrows that float over the red portion of the target. Ina handwritten script in black to the left of his head it reads “I Give Up!” To the right his head he says “Don’t Shoot!” At the bottom, in yellow, it says “For The Love of God!”
