Snakes & lizards ‘brumate’ in Australia on the coldest of days. You’ll find them laying out in the open, sucking in sunlight, before getting a drink & heading back to their home to wait a few days. Love watching them when walking the dog. Move slowly & they won’t get scared & run or slither away. 🇦🇺

Flew to Sydney in ‘89 for a s/ware trade show. M/Soft was there & one of the staff took a couple of us back to M/Soft HQ for a look. Got in to his car and gazed in awe at the integrated car phone system with its own external antenna. Plug in your brick, charge it, awesome hands-free audio. OMG! 🤣

Don’t really have that problem (with a caveat). Our shower has a common (in Australia) one handle mixer. Push/pull for pressure and rotate left/right for temp. We get a nice range of temps BUT one must be mindful to rotate without pulling or pushing. That is a skill we learned! 🤣

They shortened the original message. It used to say “It’s now safe to turn off your computer but we cannot guarantee that this message will not be burned in to the phosphor of your CRT before you remember to do so.”

All movies Ep 1-6 were acceptable in some way. Ep 7 caused me to gag. I walked out halfway during 8 and never watched 9 or the others as a result. Shame because I was in the theatre in 1977 watching Star Wars with eyes glowing in amazement! 😔

Never once called them thumb drives myself but anything is better than just USB’s.
