Today I’m making a whole wheat sourdough after last weekends practice one. Last weekend I used 100% whole wheat flour and it was way too dense. I couldn’t eat it after baking. This weekend I used half whole wheat and half all purpose and so far so good!!

@davisjason.bsky.social well I was really hoping Charlotte was gonna window - screen this just due to the support their city is giving them. I think this is the first MLS game I have watched all season. Am I crazy or is the pace of this game..slow? Ohhh they scored!!! Should pick up now!

@davisjason.bsky.social In a way, I feel bad for Poch. I don’t expect him to stay USMNT coach after the World Cup and I would have loved to see what he could have done with actual WC qualifying. If I get my wish, he will stay for one more cycle because I really want to see him in qualifying.

And just like that I fell down the stairs. I seem to be ok and the cats thought it funny but boy that happened out of the blue. My socks slipped on the top stair.

Well shoot…all the kids in my neighborhood have grown up and moved on. Had about 10-12 kids tonight trick or treating.

Then they get the best of the best and our domestic leagues get better up and coming players.

Hey everyone! I need some #sourdough advice. I’ve made three loaves of sourdough now in a Dutch oven and each time the bottom comes out extremely hard. I can’t risk breaking any teeth at my age so I’m cutting it off. What am I doing wrong! 95% comes out fantastic just not the bottom.

Some great news!!! If I watch one episode of Stargate Sg-1 a day each day starting today. By the time I finish it will be summer!! May 28th!! I have a new goal in life!!

I set a goal to walk three miles. I went walking every thirty minutes between #sourdough foods and got my three miles! Now I can’t feel my legs…

Not much going on for me this weekend. Went to Valas Pumpkin Patch Friday which is basically an autumn theme park with rides and attractions. Had a nice chicken pot pie and slice of apple pie. Place is real family friendly and perhaps a little too wholesome for me. Now a lazy Sunday at home baking.
