Even granting this gloss of current practices—which I’m not because it isn’t factual—why would you try to excuse harmful data collection practices, arbitrarily instituted for ideological/racist reasons, that limit the scope of data collected by non-commercial entities? Very weird hill to die on.

The problem is/has always been that many non-white patients with chronic kidney disease die BEFORE reaching dialysis (due to our racist healthcare system and the disparities inherent to it)
