I think that counts as a claim to knowledge. If we're aiming for a kind of skepticism, then we should say something like, "I have no reason to believe things in themselves are spatiotemporal, but I don't know."

The propositions themselves aren't inconsistent (both could be true), but it seems inconsistent for me to claim that I know something about x while also claiming that no one can know anything about x. So an inconsistency in my beliefs.
