Amorim’s decision to hook Zirkzee for Mainoo in the first half was intentionally cruel. Zirkzee was having a nightmare game, but Amorim could have hooked him at halftime and saved him the embarrassment. The reaction of the Old Trafford crowd to the substitution was equally as disappointing too.

Dan Ashworth leaving the club after 5 months. Dread to think the financial cost of the initial agreement with Newcastle for his immediate recruitment on 1st July, compounded by his termination of contract today. Ineos were adamant he was the man for the job too. It’s difficult not to be sceptical.
