They were probably played so much you Kiwis got tired of them but they soundtracked my backpacking so I’ll always be fond of them and of Tadpole who I saw playing on a beach near Auckland by accident.

I had my mains cable aligned with a ley line once and it robbed my system of the 40khz frequency band completely.

I suspect that people listen to recommended songs and then the algorithm sees those listens and uses them to make recommendations and just ends up amplifying itself.
