If Ohio State tried to plant a flag in the middle of the big house, I wouldn’t get mad at Michigan players defending their turf. That’s the thing. I’m not blaming anybody. Just saying they need to ban this flag planting stuff to avoid anymore brawls with cops spraying mace. It’s bonkers.

That’s fine. Nobody is saying Michigan can’t celebrate. But the flag planting has become a powder keg. The NCAA must respond. Brawls like this don’t reflect well on the college game.

Of course it’s taunting. You can’t even wave at a player in the NFL without getting a flag and fine. Planting the flag will almost certainly be banned by the NCAA moving forward. You can’t have cops out there spraying mace at college kids. This is getting out of control.
