Thinking about redoing my Moon Goddess card 🌙
I like her design, but I think the execution is a bit off. She’s supposed to be made of living jade, but I think she kinda just looks like she’s green 🤷♂️
Also the moon in this world is green too, so her yellow-moon throne is confusing for the lore 😅

Worth exploring more I think, I find it much more natural to do a full illustration than either of these

Some honourable mentions. I’m glad I did these, they answered world building questions for me. But I think could’ve all benefitted from another couple of hours of work ✍️

There’s also these pieces, where I was trying to mimic how I work in a toned paper sketchbook. Fun and quick to do for sure, but I miss using colour when I work like this 🤷♂️

Also had lots of fun exploring new styles, like this flat colouring look. Glad I used a textured pencil brush for the line art, it’s deffo more forgiving 😅

I really wanted to expand the lore and bronze-age aesthetic of my world building, and these feel like they strike the balance with high fantasy and antiquity for me 🏺📜🌙
