And tried to do almost everything possible before beating the final boss. There seems to be a bunch of stuff you can do that doesn't affect the completion percentage (was at 100 before beating Karmelita and all the 'mementos').

I now feel the void haha, so hope Team Cherry are working on DLC!

Big game, also lost count of how many times I attempted some of the later bosses before success *phew* (it's certainly got a somewhat exponential difficulty curve!)
I've not been captivated so much by a game in quite a while though (needs a lot of patience and perserverance towards the end :P).

(I'm aware some tweaks to these earlier pain points have been made in recent patches. I think some of these things would make experience more enjoyable, as the momentum of the game is an important factor. Interested to see what further changes get made and what Team Cherry have planned as DLC ^^)

Another good accessibility option that would be interesting to see its how it played would be having no contact damage unless the enemy is visibly passively spiky/sharp.
And reducing the 2 mask damage on the early enemies.

I spent a lot of attempts early-ish on the Craw lake lock-in (f'ing Craws!).

I reckon one of the easy ways to fix these pain points would be adjusted or additional bench points (Craw lake being a good candidate, as you only get access to a bench after this lock-in)...

That said, that is also required mid to end of Act 1, and ramps up in Act 2 (Act 3 being the final).
I'd expect most players will die a few times on bosses just to learn the attack patterns. Once you know them it can be more methodical and less frantic, but still tricky...

To preface, I'd estimate a good 15-20ish% of my overall playtime was spent repeating later bosses over and over and over to the point that the words patience and perseverance get their true appreciation...

As a designer can't help thinking about those things and while there's a part of me that doesn't want them to change anything, there are a few things that could make it a betterexperience for a lot of players ...

Silksong is a great game, as of writing I have a good 145 hours play time! It's vast, detailed, beautiful visually and aurally, varied in gameplay, has lots of personality. I've been captivated.

My criticism of it would be its erratic difficulty curve and how it goes exponential towards the end...
