You can't imagine, T. My spouse, for his permanent residency, has to get a letter from German police stating he had a clean record while in the service in 1970s!

No- it was sold before we could make offer. We bought a small (1300squft) house on 2.7 acres, exactly where we wanted to be in East Sooke. It has greenhouse and garden and is absolutely lovely but small. We hope to add garage and bedroom suite eventually.
