Jack snipes served on ice 😄 Out with the Hikmicro Mini this morning by my local patch. Works surprisingly well even though it is not designed for wildlife. Definitely helps keeping track of the overwinterers.

In the reeds with Prof Acrocephalus arundinaceus (aka Dennis Hasselquist) himself, joining the crew for a brief stint during the 42nd field season. Very cool to have a brief glimpse of how yet another series of data points is added to this amazing dataset.
