Årstein Justnes and Hilda Deborah spoke about finding the right inventory system for a dataset consisting of fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls, some of which have more than one interpretation which poses certain challenges.
We looked at the pros of using a knowledge graph for this case. #DHKO2025

I loved, loved, loved the conference @dhko.bsky.social . It strangely restored my excitement about the academic life 😆

By the way, yes, the research project has been concluded, but our Dead Sea Scrolls data and resources website is still being updated. cc: @arsteinjustnes.bsky.social

Turns out, I have to set a super low target to overcome the writing mental block I've been having for years. I'm talking RIDICULOUSLY low bar, just half a page per week. And by mid March I will have ERC B1 written. Quality of the writing is a problem for another time. #AcWri

Anyone else does self-talk as a coping mechanism? In a form of talking to yourself out loud to process an emotion, rehearse a conversation, or keep yourself in task? No?

My entire career, I never wanted to be a lecturer because I'm a massive introvert (too much social interaction turns me into mush) and the logistics of teaching is just SO MUCH. I'm teaching for the first time now. It's super hard. But my colleagues are the kindest most supportive bunch.

So, I got a paper to review. It's double blind, so technically I don't know who wrote it. But just by how the sentences are crafted, I think I can safely guess. And based on my guess, I believe I have a conflict of interest. Do I then have a conflict of interest? Or this is just my perception?
