I printed them on matte Epson photo paper to make the colours pop. Glued it to a thicker cardboard-like paper for stability, then cut to size and folded.

I forgot to say, I used it in mouse mode or whatever it was called. That means the screen wasn't mapped to the tablet area. I found this more comfortable. It was also primarily used to color pictures that I scanned in, not to draw them.

One could say you got Bamboozled! *Budum Tsh* I'll see myself out. 😅
But yeah, a monopoly. I remember having a really cheap tablet before the Bamboo, used it once, maybe twice, and the Pen ( which was Battery Powered) snapped in half. Not great. I believe that was in 2004 or so, the Bamboo was 2009.

I used a small Wacom Bamboo back then since it was affordable enough, Wacom stuff was always waaay out of my budget normally. 😅
Good thing there are more options now other than Wacom, back then it was a different story though, if you wanted quality, it had to be from them.

Yeah, it's really not very intuitive. It's an os by programmers for programmers basically. Filesystem is too complicated, terminal is the only way to solve issues. You cannot even drag n drop native programs on a usb stick and run it on a different linux distro. It's a bit of a mess.

I'm afraid linux won't do. I have it on my laptop and it just doesn't run most of my software, heck even the games stuff is pretty all over the place. And since dualbooting is not my thing, it's just Win11. Hopefully microsoft extends win10 support a bit further.

Ugh, it'll be Win11 for me down the line sadly. Hopefully disabling that horrid screenshot taking AI will be easy when I have to switch.

With software that does this, I dread the day the servers are down for good. 😔

Unfortunately, it phones home regardless of the version one has bought. Essentially it's just rented software, not something we own a copy of directly. I wish it was DRM free and truly "buy once, use and own forever". No authentication servers necessary.

Uff. Yeah, that's AI for ya. :/

Actually, the person who made the 3rd reddit thread in the picture posted a video on instagram of it. They were having a good time.
