and start to organize local communities in order to protect ppl from the coming fascist horrors!
January 16, 2025 at 11:07 PM
that's why it's time to start to organize more in communities, helping people to survive, instead of constantly gloating on bluesky about having predicted Trump wouldn't help the American ppl. Now you come off as pretentious liberal who only cares about their moral superiority and not ppl's lives

exactly! burn the imperialist's flag 🔥🔥

This would make a 🔥 album cover.

I agree very much so. If the CIA is what happens under democratic socialism I will fight vehemently against democratic socialism.

"A Democratic Socialist is not a Marxist Socialist." Marx laid out the fundamental principles of how to fight capitalism. If his thought is rejected, you are not a socialist worth your money. From that follows that when forced to pick a side, they will always choose against Marx, against socialism.

Only by abolishing private property can "true democracy" in de economy be reached. Any socialist that rejects Marx is not a socialist.

Trump isn't progressive either. And I never said that. What is it with liberals always making this a binary: either Harris OR Trump? No, I am for a viable alternative, not the shitshow that is US politics.

She would have been the president of the leading imperialist nation that has been involved with and actively supports the killing of tens of thousands of Palestinian men, women and children. Mind you, she's already done that while she's VP. That is NOT progressivism. That is BARBARISM.

Even if he has to work 14 hours a day over 2 jobs in gruesome working conditions, that's better than death. The laborer is put in a way more risky position, the capitalist not so much. And if the he loses all his capital, the CAPITAL will survive; even the capitalist is expendable undr capitalism2/2
December 23, 2024 at 8:41 AM
Labor is very much at risk lol. Capital, being a reflection of labor, will only transfer from one person to another. The capitalist that loses his money now becomes a laborer too, that's the ultimate fate of 99% of the population. The laborer can actually die when he cannot find any work...1/2

you can define it differently, but that doesn't make it true. it seems our discussion has ended, because it doesn't seem likely one of us will convince the other of our own definition.
December 23, 2024 at 8:33 AM
no, just no. A capitalist society is when the capitalist owns the means of production and the worker has to sell their laborpower in order to survive. Whether there's a fiat currency or not doesn't matter.

and fyi, fascism has always just been a version of capitalism

Idk much about the US economy, but to me it seems like the fed is mostly an institution that keep the economy of the US stable. I agree that we could get rid of the fed, but only by moving away from a capitalist economy, which is only focused on monetary gain and suffers from boom-bust cycles.
December 22, 2024 at 9:40 PM
I don't think you know how value is generated. Money is a reflection of this value, which is only generated by labor. It is the labor of ppl that allows the government to function, not money. The government can run as long as there are ppl that can provide the labor for it to function.
December 22, 2024 at 7:56 PM
But now money, through "commodity fetishism," has itself been associated with value, instead of bread, clothes or a chair. I believe that with all our modern technology it is possible for us to get rid of money, so that we could just make what is needed, at least for the basic necessities. 2/2
December 22, 2024 at 6:02 PM
You can also do things because it is needed. Ppl don't only start a bakery because they want money, but also because they want to give ppl well-baked bread. Money was initially only a method by which these actually valuable objects, like bread, clothers or a chair could be exchanged easier. 1/2

The cutoff should be that those who profit off other ppl's work and don't add value to society get the guillotine. Added to this should be that it is needed to transform our society so that ppl cannot profit off other ppl's work and so that there can be no billionaires who own much more than others.

This kind of 'international fascism' isn't something new: we already saw it in the 1920's and '30's, with many US capitalists funding fascists in Europe, including the nazi's in Germany.
