Imagine if politics was taught in school. Just the basics, like what is populism and some stuff on the value of democracy or how politicians can choose debt for short term gains at long term costs.

Saying 40% of junior positions will BE LOST due to AI is MISLEADING. We should rather say that 40% of junior positions WILL CHANGE due to AI. Recognising that technology improvements create other roles suddenly makes AI seem a lot less scary.

I don't know if we can expect an unbiased media. Perhaps the solution is for us to take the responsibility of viewing different opinions. We shouldn't want the ‘full truth’ from one source, we need to see everything that's popular and figure the truth out on our own.

After studying some philosophy, one of the most fascinating things is how much we can explain in terms of social contract theory. I.e. How interactions are based on mutually beneficial unwritten agreements, with some variations due to power dynamics.
