Neopixels always end up being so much brighter in person than any marketing material would suggest. 😄 I remember being just as surprised years ago when I picked up a Neopixel ring from Adafruit.

I remember reading that .cat is restricted to the Catalan community but it looks like that doesn't quite hold true in practice. 👀
Also fascinating to see that .dev is easily the largest of the new gTLDs.

That thread was so frustrating. Equating the onboarding experience (which affects 100% of users) with custom-feed creation (which is a <1% power user feature) is super disingenuous.
In general I get the vibe that a lot of fedi is unwilling to meaningfully engage with Mastodon's UX shortcomings.

That thread was so frustrating. Equating the onboarding experience (which affects 100% of users) with custom-feed creation (which is a <1% power user feature) is super disingenuous.
