Totally fair lol. Compared to first game though this one’s epilogue feels a lot more like wrapping up some loose ends.

Maybe this is all just cope. I hope that people remember that the first game’s story was also pretty quick all together and in both games the real strength comes from everything happening around the main story. That could just be me though. After finishing the epilogue, I can say I’m happy with it.

While I get considering the second game’s story weaker, I do also think Mel has a stronger character arc than Zag which was an initial disappointment for me in the first. So you win some lose some, but I get how that may not be a satisfying answer for everyone.

I had mixed feelings on the ending at first, I understand not liking it. There is more game after it though. It’s also worth keeping in mind how the side stories compare to the main story like in the first game.

I do agree I wish it was Mel’s choice. I wish it took a couple more runs to beat to finish fleshing out what it was doing. However after beating the epilogue and getting the last major twist, I wish it was framed more as 2 acts rather than a main story + epilogue. More satisfying that way imo

Haven’t done Nemesis’s romance stuff yet since I’ve been frolicking on the surface too much but Icarus’s is definitely my favorite of the three I’ve done.

Personally I use the aspect of pan on the blades the most so I didn’t even notice she does that since the specials can just curve around. May be worth trying out if you just wanna get the prophecy done
