I seem to have been somewhat lax in posting out new family member. It's been a bit manic in the few weeks since we've had her, not helped by a bout of the lurg. So Bluesky meet Lanntair, a #Collie #Labrador cross. Her name means light or lantern in #Gàidhlig (Scotts' Gaelic). #DogsOfBluesky

So I like to make intentionally bad keyboards, in part because of my unfulfilled blood feud with mechanical keyboard enthusiasts, but mainly because I like being a chaos gremlin.

So my #GravelBike ride to Screwfix after the rains had passed was a bit mistimed. It poured for most of the way there and I was soaked and miserable by the time I got there. But the sun came out and I had a tailwind for the homeward leg.

Have taken the dog for a walk. Got to shelter in the pub serving fruit cider and Gyros just asghe showers turned into pouring. I may be here a while.

A stressful journey home, a summary in three pictures. While on a trip, my car sprung a coolant leak the evening before our early ferry home. We managed to get the leaking hose to hold together which got us to the ferry and to the dealer for a replacement. Bleeding a hot radiator in a car park sucks

A weekend of highs and lows, but I'm going to concentrate on the positives. I made some progress painting bits of cars, managed to go and enjoy the #bluebells I've been looking forward to and even managed to pot on quite a lot of sunflower seedlings

A good day. Some work done, solved a tech issue and while showing a guest some interesting local churches we went on a quest to find the great key for one and were invited to climb the tower of another by the church warden.

I try to stay away from politics but this crab eating a grape is very important.

Bah, this was not the end to my #GravelBike ride in the #Spring sunshine I was hoping for.

Hooray, spring seems to be giving us a bit of a preview that there may be an end in sight to what has felt like a very long winter.
