chrome explicitly changed how addons work to make adblock effectively impossible.

ive seen a lot of people treat this as if adblockers were made impossible - when all you need to do is switch to firefox where they work as they always have!

(of course there might be other reasons for not switching)

ublock will work for the forseeable future as long as you use firefox (or something else that isnt chromium-based). worst case you have to wait a couple hours for them to update for whatever yt is doing - or watch the videos logged out of your account (ad block usage is tracked via account)

if a door is a means of removing/creating a closed wall between two rooms, your on/off answer depends on whether you think of the state without the door existing at all as the wall existing or the wall not existing.

the wall not existing makes sense as the door has to be inserted into a space. +
