My birthday is on Sunday, I am having a tea party with some friends to celebrate on Saturday. Made some Ham and Turkey pinwheels, and vegan raspberry thumbprint cookies today.

My plan for today is to dye my silk bright white. This past week I also finished patterning a corset for the understructure, just waiting on some coutil to come in. Rewatching The Apothecary Diaries while I work. 🪷

I Bought this silk at the beginning of the year when I knew I wanted to go all out for my next competition piece. The plan is to finish sometime this summer, I wanted to enter SoonerCon but that is looking unlikely... Maybe a Fall convention in Texas or save it until next year. I am unsure...

Before and after cleaning my workroom. I have seen worse tornados after Con-Crunching but I am also really proud I finally hung up Destiny's Embrace on my pegboard. No more collecting dust on the floor.
