Yesterday in SoCal it rained slightly and Edison, the local electric company cut power preemptively. It's an informed decision that will slow the spread of the wildfires. They are currently in the Hollywood to Malibu hills, with lots of acreage but minimal injuries.

Amnesty International released a report this week labeling Gaza war crimes a genocide. I think "duh" covers it but adding their take to the publications may help increase aid to the area.
