Which means when Sephiroth asks Cloud to defy destiny together, in Rebirth when they create the split world by stopping the death of Aerith through Clouds strong desire, they have infact defied destiny together.

To summarise a few aspects, Fate is the planets memory formed by who die and join the lifestream, the whispers are the curators of this memory, white blood cells to stop conflicting memories forming within the planet, these conflicts are the defying of destiny.

I also think Zack will be a part of that world, although his end goal now I'm not sure. I thought he was being positioned to undermine his hero complex and rebuild him in a Thorfinn from Vinland Saga type narrative, but they only sort of went that route so his arc now is hard to imagine for me.

The headache is point of change, in both situations it prefaces him seeing and speaking to her, and thus we see these two different Aeriths within the same scene. But what about the 3rd Aerith in the other world, well that for me is the one that we will see in Part 3, and will be important.

It's after this that Aerith reappears and talks to Cloud, using dialogue similar to what we've heard from her in the past. And when she appears, the wind from the Bronco is shown to affect her, this is purposefully contrasting imo, and shows this is the Aerith in Clouds head.

Then we get another Cloud headache, this time due to the blocked memory of how he somehow ended up with the black materia.

We then get Red XIII sensing Aerith, confirming this is an Aerith within the lifestream who Red can at least sense.

Then we get the final scene with the Tiny Bronco, first we have Aerith who walks around the crew and is sensed by Red XIII, notice how they specifically include a scene of the Bronco backfiring and her clothes nor hair being affected by it.

We can see this by looking at the order of events. First by the lake we get a Cloud headache where he blocks out the memory of burying Aerith, then she appears to him, this is similar to how he reacts to Zacks death. Jenovas cells are helping complete the lie by showing him her alive.

The Ending: The ultimania asks an important question, is Aerith at the end an illusion, in the lifestream or in another world. Imo, the answer is actually all 3, albeit we only see 2 of those in Rebirth, her in the lifestream saying goodbye, and the illusion formed by the Jenovas cells in Cloud.

With Sephiroths plan in place of injecting his will into the planets memories, Aerith had to counteract, she did this by passing on her memories to the memory of herself within the Stamp world. These memories eventually come into conflict with the planet as they don't belong at that time.

I want to go through all the different forms of Aerith I think we are dealing with and especially the ending of Rebirth and what I think is happening with her, and yes this will address the Aerith is Jenova theory.
