@maddow.msnbc.com yes re: Alina Habba legal conflict… but doesn’t the idea of any conflict also presuppose due process for any of these folks they are scooping up?

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.
If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved

realized while emptying the dishwasher that Yoda is precisely wrong. not malevolently so. but there is no do and there is no do not. there is only try. this is clear to a man in his mid-fifties and so should be clear to a 900-year-old Jedi knight
Across Ukraine, many people were shocked and blindsided at how a deal between the U.S. and the country on critical minerals fell apart and how President Trump treated Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky. They also said they wouldn’t stop fighting, even if the U.S. walked away.
The Baltimore City state’s attorney announced on Tuesday that his office would withdraw a motion to vacate the conviction against Adnan Syed, who has spent decades in prison while fighting charges that he had killed his high school girlfriend, Hae Min Lee.
So… I did a thing. I changed my affiliation to republican. Someone correct me if I’m wrong… but I live in an overwhelmingly blue county in a purple state. And I want to be able to call Tillis and Rudd as someone on their team.

But what if, @maddow.msnbc.com & @warren.senate.gov , the court calls foul on an agency for not carrying out an order… who enforces? Who makes Pam Bondi direct anyone to do anything? This is what we really want to hear discussed. What does a constitutional crisis mean for us?

Except for Justice Roberts in particular, I haven’t heard many heads considering the way the right wing of the current court would possibly dissent. But… and this is what I haven’t heard any scenario address…would all the Supreme Court justices vote themselves out of any power the judicial can have?

If we play out all possible worst case scenarios, most of those seem to end with the Supreme Court either going along to get along with the world and the US Constitution; or ruling against Trump and bracing for a coup.
