I redid Luffy’s team. Really I just switched Annihilape out because while it does resemble gear 5 it bugged me that it stems from anger instead of the joy that characterizes luffy as a whole and especially gear 5

Maybe Luffy and Law usually spend Christmas together (platonically of course), but this year, Luffy decided to make the trip to be with his family. And Law’s friends also left, out of town. Cora’s dead so unless Law wants to spend Christmas in a cemetery, that’s a no-go.
Only like this can he pretend the blanket wrapped tight around his shoulders, the hoodie he squeezes against his chest, the pillow he rests his head on, in their place the solid body of someone— the alpha he desires, his father, a friend— holds him close, and he hears the whisper, “merry Christmas.”
