Sorry, I’m really bad at explaining things.

I find using thinner lines makes me feel more deliberate with my choices in my detail work. You can still compromise by playing with line weight to have both thick and thin lineart though. I don’t think one sort of lineart is better than the other, it’s all down to preference.
