A rather good cause - one I am happy to wait for. Best wishes to these siblings.

Indeed. You would be unlikely to harm me in the case of an accident - and I am capable of dressing wounds, should one occur. We would, of course, not be using blades to practice with at first.

Choose a schedule, and I will make it work.

As it so happens…

Should you be in need of a mentor, I may be of assistance.

Anything you rely on to return to you should not be trusted to in fact do so. All too often such things find themselves lodged in ways that will inevitably force you back into biting range.

I have personally taken to utilising spears. Should you have the adequate strength to wield them, they are an effective tool in crowd control and managing distance.

Chakrams in the context you employ them would be… unwise, in my opinion.

Take care with explosions or other such things which might aerosolise their blood - breathing in or ingesting it can often be on par with being bitten in transmissible cases, regardless of origin.

This is not the job for you or me, I agree, but holy ammunition does seem to be the correct approach. You should be aware, however, that it would not work universally against the undead. Should you be interested in arming yourself against them as a whole, it would be but one tool in your arsenal.
May 25, 2025 at 12:49 AM
Ah. That is… unexpectedly quite outside my scope, I’m afraid. I have reasonable experience with these things, and an immunity of sorts of my own, but it would do little against the circumstances you describe.
May 25, 2025 at 12:49 AM
Describe the qualities and capabilities of these magical undead - I may be of some help. Either in providing you with suggestions for the future, or determining if I might be qualified for this excursion in your stead, should that be possible.

You may message me. Rest assured I will be awake to receive it, whenever that might be.

No need to rush yourself, ha ha. Tomorrow is fine. Pack something warm, have yourself a meal, then come to me when you’re good and ready.

Moderate. We’re no longer high up on Glaseado Mountain, but closer to its base. Though there is no snow on this side, I would still recommend a jacket and gloves.
December 19, 2024 at 4:49 AM
Indeed… I do have a theory, but it is rather obtuse, and one I presently have no way to confirm without a translator. Your assistance would be invaluable.

When would be most convenient for you to arrive? I can have Michi’s Gallade send for you.
December 19, 2024 at 4:30 AM
Perhaps I could interest you in joining me here for a few days? I’d personally treat it as a paid mission that you might otherwise receive from Michi.

A visit would be quite welcome. My students have gone home, but I’ve remained in Paldea for the time being while I see to this Spiritomb. I admit I am wary of allowing anyone else near it, but you may be the exception, capable of connecting with Pokemon as you are.
December 19, 2024 at 4:17 AM
“A little” intimidating is certainly better than what I’ve gotten used to hearing, ha ha. Thank you for your concern.
December 19, 2024 at 3:16 AM
No need to worry yourself for me. I am fine.
December 18, 2024 at 11:43 PM
Ah. Yes. Unfortunately.
December 18, 2024 at 8:53 PM
It was rather stressful, yes. However, in these situations, remaining calm is key.
December 18, 2024 at 7:34 AM
I’ve dealt with much worse - I will be fine. I am simply thankful my students were not harmed.
December 18, 2024 at 7:27 AM
They are. Under normal circumstances, it would take up to four Trainers to safely battle one. While this Spiritomb was not Dynamaxed, it did have an abnormal proficiency for battle for a wild Pokemon, and the stakes felt much the same. Circumstances saw to it that I was obliged to battle it alone.
December 18, 2024 at 7:27 AM
I admit it was one of the more challenging battles of my time. It brings to mind the Dynamax raids of Galar.

In the chaos, I took a hit myself. I will manage. The certain Ghost Pokemon, too, was badly injured defending my student, though it has made a full recovery. Quite the situation, indeed.
December 17, 2024 at 8:44 PM
Indeed. This one is taller than even I when it stretches. The phenomenon was most common in Hisui - before the Sinnoh of today.
December 17, 2024 at 1:43 PM
I admit I am also rather curious as to how an Alpha may yet exist in this age.

A heroic fairy tale and an academic paper may both come of this, I suspect.
December 16, 2024 at 11:38 PM
While it was a delight to witness, it is not in my possession. That Pokemon chose to go with the student it had protected. As for the seemingly Alpha Spiritomb… It is temporarily in my care while I investigate what inspired it to act out.
